Some of the key ingredients are:
-
Sheep Tallow: A natural ingredient that acts as a skin softener. 100% grass fed & grass finished. It has not been bleached, deodorized, hydrogenated or altered.
-
Pine Tar: Has been used for centuries in salves and ointments because of the benefits it contains.
-
Carbolic Acid: Also known as phenyl alcohol. It is a weak acid distilled from coal tar.
-
Castor Oil: A natural product derived from the castor bean plant. It contains many beneficial properties. It penetrates and protects the skin.
-
Mineral Oil: Assists in keeping the skin soft & moisturized and creates a barrier between your skin and the outside world, protecting it from outside elements and pollution.
-
Lanolin: This ingredient is a natural moisturizer with powerful emollient and protective properties. It also acts as a barrier.
-
Beeswax: A natural product produced in the bee hive of honey bees. This ingredient compliments the petrolatum in acting as a protective barrier against the elements when it is applied. Beeswax has the ability to protect and repair dry skin. The rich, Vitamin A content helps the beeswax lock in moisture and allows the skin to breathe simultaneously. It does not clog pores and aids in healthy skin development.
-
Petrolatum: A natural product that is used to protect the skin and acts as a protective dressing to hold in the ingredients. It is a soothing applicator to the skin.
